Skylark’s A Christmas Carol brings Charles Dickens’s beloved tale to life through Tony Award-winning actress Christine Baranski’s narration and composer Benedict Sheehan’s original choral score. Artistic Director Matthew Guard abridged Dickens’s text while Sheehan wove traditional Christmas carols together with newly composed music, creating a continuous 75-minute experience.
Released on Skylark’s new label distributed by LSO Live, the album was inspired by the ensemble’s sold-out 2024 performance at the Morgan Library & Museum.
