Chris Artley wins the inaugural London Choral Sinfonia (LCS) Carol Competition



Chris Artley has won the inaugural London Choral Sinfonia Carol Competition with 'Christmas Day' (words by Christina Rossetti).

Per the LCS's website, "The competition aims to showcase new and exciting composers, whilst expanding the ensemble's seasonal repertoire. The winner of the competition will have their piece performed at the London Choral Sinfonia's Christmas Concert on Tuesday 21 December 2023 at St John's Smith Square."

Judges for this year's competition were LCS Artistic Director, Michael Waldron, LCS Composer-in-Residence, Owain Park and Director of Music Publishing at Oxford University Press, Rachel Lindley.
