I don't know if this is an exact translation, but I wanted to share with you this piece off this Buxtehude Christmas album: In Dulci Jubilo: Music for the Christmas Season by Buxtehude and Friends. Theatre of Voices. Paul Hillier. Apparently once attributed to J.S. Bach, it is simply spectacular.
