Mark and Maggie O'Connor Duo Up for Christmas
This 2025 holiday album is Mark O'Connor's follow-up to the perennial An Appalachian Christmas of 2011 featuring several guest artists and for which he created annual concert tours.
Through the years these tours featured various musicians including the Grammy-winning bluegrass ensemble O'Connor Band. Since 2014, Mark's wife Maggie O'Connor joined the tour lineup. After the pandemic in 2022, Mark wanted to try the tour as a duet since they were putting finishing touches on their vocal album, Life After Life. The result of the new husband-and-wife Christmas setlist was musical magic.
